Another look at the USA (1/2)

Family experience from the US made me very negative in the late Gomółka period, the second half of the 1960s. Bad experiences were not of an economical nature, but of a cultural, worldview and civilizational nature, and made me not a citizen of this country. The voluntary resignation of this “luck” was then unthinkable! I was a kid at the time, and it wasn't my decision, but I never doubted that it was the right decision. household experience with Russia, or actually the USSR, was even worse. Let me just say that I learned the words “sybir” and “sybir” immediately after the words “mama” and “dad”. Magdan, Kołyma and Workuta were the first terms I met in geography. I besides learned very rapidly that it is crucial to be very careful with the loud expression of opinions about these countries. The misconception of the USSR was punished by the power of the time, the misconception of the United States, the environment was punished by suspicious treatment. And I had an even worse opinion of the US than the PRL's propaganda, so it was easy to become a “red onuca” (this onuca remained today, only an adjective changed)! All these experiences taught me that the planet should be viewed rationally, 1 should follow one's own head and draw conclusions from the facts. And do not worry about the fact that these conclusions most frequently do not fit in either the propaganda presently preached or the popular opinion, for this is ALWAYS shaped by any propaganda. What I knew and understood more than half a century ago is only now slow beginning to scope our society. My attitude towards Russia has changed paradoxically. It had to change due to the fact that Russia had changed. There is no USSR anymore, there is another country. The U.S. hasn't just changed, but it's worse than erstwhile I was young.

Thierry Meyssan published the first part A text on our misinterpretation of events in the United States. As I have said many times, this is my highest-valued origin of information, which so far I can't object to anything (except that it does not compose enough). I usually add my own comments and additions to the translated texts, but this time I will abstain from appearing the second part.

Misinterpretations of events in the United States (1/2)

author: Thierry Meyssan

We see that Donald Trump's appearance in the White home changes the rules of the global game. However, we frequently misinterpret his actions: we do not know the customs and customs of his country, and we cast our political debates on him. We are all the more confused that in fresh years we have been more or little in fashion ideology in Washington. We thought it was an American dock. [I think it's a leading thought]Although it was only a minute in her communicative and we forgot about her many schools of thought.

Donald Trump's appearance in the White home shuffles all ideological, geopolitical, economical and even military cards. For the first time in almost 2 centuries in the United States, the Jacksonist reigns again. We have forgotten this way of reasoning (except Westerns) and we are no longer able to foretell it. However, Trump had already held power for 4 years, but at that time his own Republican allies mostly prevented him from implementing his policies while the democratic press assured us that he was mentally sick or fascist.

Strangely enough, social network influencers who defend his point of view only inform us of his ideological conflict with voicism, never of his concept of global relations, much little his political ambitions. It is all the more unusual that since the 5 November elections, Donald Trump's squad has gained a large number of influencers in the European Union and the UK and has started paying them well.

There are many ways to look at this contradiction. Either Donald Trump intends to mislead Europeans about his actual intentions, or believes that they can only realize 1 thing at a time. For our part, we will proceed our work, describing various aspects of its character, without neglecting any.

Fighting the ideology of Woke

Vocalism is mostly portrayed as a reaction to slavery and racial segregation. European colonials, now aware of the atrocities they committed, tried to fix it.

That's not my view. In my opinion, vocalism has nothing to do with these crimes. If we take an anthropological view, we must recognise that identical phenomena happen in all major religions. In Christianity they were embodyed by Origen, the father of the Church of the 3rd century, who castrated himself to avoid sin, and late John Calvin, known to have applied the same methods as the Spanish Inquisition in the Theocratic Republic of Geneva.

The United States is native to the Puritan colony Plymouth (New England, more specifically Massachusetts). These colonists were Puritans, or Calvinists. Lord Protector, Oliver Cromwell, sent them as missionaries, not so much to convert Indians as Europeans to a very Catholic king of Spain. In their colonies women had to be obscured, and prayer was compulsory. Homosexuals were whipped and so on. These fanatics are known as “Page Fathers” (not to be confused with “The Founders” who are lawyers). Their memory is celebrated annually on Thanksgiving. They imported the thought that politics should be "pure" and statues of heretics should be destroyed.

Since 2014, the word "woke" has been utilized to identify people who are aware of the social consequences of slavery and racial discrimination, or even, as actions become closer, sexual or even sex orientation. This movement, which seeks to "purity" in the spiritual sense of the term, has designated itself "good practices" to combat racial discrimination, both openly and "systemic". In practice, it seeks "positive discrimination" for all minorities.

It is clear that slavery was a reality in the United States and that this past reality determines current behavior. However, it is doubtful that the demolition of anything that reminds us of that era will solve the problems of our times, and even more doubtful that favoritism of black candidates will let them to free themselves from the conditions in which their ancestors lived. Everyone instinctively sees that countermeasures are worse than the problems they supposedly fight. At least that's what the conscious people of Los Angeles thought erstwhile their homes ravaged the fire. They considered the ineffectiveness of firefighters employed on the basis of affirmative discrimination, not competence. This movement has lost its popularity in the United States in erstwhile years, as indicated by the expression get woke, go broke“ If you wake up, you will fail! ”

Vocalism is simply a modern adaptation of the Puritanism of the Pilgrim Fathers. But the United States is simply a complex country where many cultures have mixed together.

Just as the Republican Party, absorbed by Trumpists, became Jackson's, so the Democratic Party, absorbed by Obama and Biden, became Woke. This led to many misunderstandings, as Washington as a full ideologically abandoned its conventional behavior, to which it now returns.

During the presidential election campaign, 2 young influencers powerfully condemned vocalism. Black writer Candace Owens (who presently attacks a pair of Macron [1]) described Black Lives substance as "a group of whiny brats pretending to be oppression to [in this way] draw attention to themselves". While gay Milo Yiannopoulos (married to another man) made a brand with his parody of lesbian feminism and LGBTQIA+ movement. These 2 influential people made many black and gay people not vote for the Democratic Party, like their predecessors, but for Donald Trump.

In his inaugural speech, Donald Trump announced the end of the affirmative action policy and stated that from now on the national state would recognise only 2 sexes. This is spectacular, but it happens at a time erstwhile the vast majority of American voters are already convinced of it [2].

American uniqueness

Donald Trump is simply a supporter of “American uniqueness” [3], the doctrine that the United States is “a light on top of the mountain” by God's will enlightening the world.

This doctrine, which besides derives straight from the example of the “fathers of pilgrims”, claims that their journey was comparable to that of the ancient Hebrews. She transformed them into a “chosen nation” due to the fact that they fled from Pharaoh (the British monarchy that had just been overthrown by Lord Cromwell), crossed the Red Sea (Atlantic Ocean) and discovered the promised land (North America). Each of the 47 presidents of the United States, without exception, referred to this mythology. This mythology is based on both their rejection of the principles of global law and their support for the State of Israel.

From an American point of view (and this has nothing to do with Donald Trump), Washington will never agree to be accountable to anyone, or even least to the United Nations or its agencies. They may have welcomed many Nazi criminals during the Cold War, may have massacred Koreans, Vietnamese, Afghans, Iraqis, Libyans, Palestinians, Syrians, etc., but no of their presidents should be prosecuted before any global tribunal.

In a text published in 2013 by the fresh York Times, Russian president Vladimir Putin stressed that "it is highly dangerous to encourage people to consider themselves exceptional, regardless of their motivation" [4]. This doctrine implies a difference and hierarchy between people, as erstwhile we apply the theological concept of a "chosen nation" to political reality.

Throughout his history, Washington never agreed to settle for outsiders. We wrongly attribute any of his fresh decisions to the current ideologies, while they would have been taken anyway. For example, we mistakenly believe that Donald Trump withdrew from the Paris Agreements to fight global warming due to the fact that he considers them foolish. Of course, he does not believe that IPCC is an academy of science. But under no circumstances could the United States agree to sign contracts that would give them to the judgement of others. Obama and Biden took a stance contrary to the tradition of their country due to ideology; Trump took a position in line with his tradition, which besides corresponds to his own ideology.

Western version of freedom

When the United States was founded in 1776, 13 years before the French Revolution, the founding fathers had their own concept of freedom and human rights. Unlike French volterians, they did not think about these issues from both an individual and a collective point of view. For them, freedom simply meant doing what you wanted at home. For example, they are allergic to the rule of compulsory social safety contributions.

This way of reasoning is not without faults. For example, their concept of "human rights" is completely contrary to the French concept "droits de l’homme et du citoyenIt’s okay. ” From an Anglo-Saxon point of view (referring to the British tradition) it is simply a question of protection from the oppression of the state. On the another hand, from the point of view of the French revolutionaries, the aim was not to be tortured at the police station, but to participate in the creation of the law [5].

The debate on freedom of expression is distorted by the imposition of [on it] explanation patterns. Biden's administration believed, from a woke point of view, that it had a work to inform the public about COVID threats and to save them from disease. It so banned any technological debate and censored all the different opinions. According to the tradition of "founding fathers", the national state was not allowed to interfere in the exchange of information on social networks. According to the Wolter tradition, the state had no right to prohibit anything, but it had the right to order the courts to ban messages that misled net users and damaged their wellness (in this case, they were messages concerning the universal acceptance of certain medical measures).

He refused to vote for the King's death due to the fact that he felt that making 1 man liable for injustice would end the process of transforming society. He wrote a book on 2 conflicting concepts of human rights. It was the most read book during the French Revolution.
