This period of “white terror” of the Chinese right-wing remains an identity challenge for Taiwanese people to date. On the 1 hand, the then authorities fought the communist government of People's China in Beijing, on the another hand they were ruthless to their own citizens. present on 28 February in Taiwan is the Day of Memory and Peace." – Dr. Maciej Gaca, prof. of the UMC, associate of the Asian Observatory at the Center for global Relations, Sinologist, linguist, diplomat writes in CSM analysis.
