The first investigating of shrapnel-storming missiles designed by the WB Group has been completed, primarily associated with unmanned systems specified as FlyEye and Warmate. – 155 mm artillery ammunition is to become a fresh component of the company’s offer – informed the company’s board. The first batch of missiles can be produced as early as next year.

– Work on implementing 155 mm artillery ammunition is at an advanced phase – said Piotr Wojciechowski and Adam Bartosziewicz, president and vice president WB Groups, during a gathering with journalists summarizing the company's operation in 2025. Sector entry 155 mm ammunition is simply a crucial expansion of the company's operations, which has so far focused mainly on the improvement of unmanned systems and communication technologies.

The WB Group plans to offer ammunition in 2 variants: classical shrapnel-burning and shrapnel-burning with a gas generator. The steel shell production technology was developed by the company, but the bodies themselves will be produced by 2 external contractors. “This component of production does not require a concession,” Wojciechowski stressed. The group besides uses partners providing fuses and propellants.

Elaboration of missiles is already taking place in companies belonging to the company. The location of the mill is not disclosed, it is known only that it is located in western Poland. It presently manufactures warheads for unmanned systems of this company. As indicated by the board, the plant already has the capacity to produce artillery ammunition, and the plans include further infrastructure expansion.

Bullet prototypes passed the first series of tests. “They were fired at a distance of 17 km”, said the president of the WB Group, presenting pictures from the trials. As he added, with the maximum burden and the highest pressures, the behaviour of the projectile in flight, its burden opposition and the obtained focus were tested. They're about to launch further tests, this time at a distance of 40 km.

By September of next year, the certification process is planned to be completed, which will open the way to start production. In the last 4th of 2026, the WB Group intends to produce the first batch: about 5–10 1000 missiles. A year later, a full-scale series production is expected to start, with a volume estimated at 50 to 100,000 units per year.
