AMSTA, or neural networks to defender the east border

Each of the seismic sensors of the AMSTA Peripetrical Protection System, utilized on the Polish east border, is equipped with artificial intelligence. "There are many neuron network algorithms utilized to identify different types of violations" - explained Jan Jakub Szczyrek, president of MindMade Board. This is due to the advanced sensitivity of strategy sensors. "In simple language, 99% of cases (detections - ed.) are any kind of animal: a heron, a deer, and late we have quite a few boars that bathe in the mud, giving a powerful seismic wave. And the strategy must recognise and signal very circumstantial crossings - passing vehicles or crossing people's borders." - explained president Szczyrek. The task of artificial intelligence is very fast data analysis and distinguishing these signals to signal Border Guards only actual border violations. It is besides helpful to combine seismic sensors with HDTV reflection systems and, above all, infrared sensors.
