Agreement signed to let US troops to deploy close the Panama Canal

Panama will let the deployment of American troops in areas close the Panama Canal and its vicinity, the AFP agency reported, citing an agreement between the governments of the United States and Panama published on Thursday. The agreement, however, excludes the anticipation of establishing military bases there.
