"From 2024, EU regulations are clear: 100% of ETS revenues should be allocated to energy transition purposes. Meanwhile, in Poland, only half of these funds are inactive actually allocated to transformation, and the another half is simply spread over the budget. Effect? Citizens finance the transition twice: erstwhile in the price of energy, by paying for the ETS, and the second time through bills. This is illogical and unfair," says Wanda Buk in an interview with Konrad Wernicki.
