strong but actual words of a political scientist, prof. Kazimierz Kik

In the presidential debate “Super Express” there were no wins. There were fights, disputes and pretending. In addition, on a level not related to the duties of the president of Poland, says prof. Kazimierz Kik, a political scientist.

After a Monday debate with all candidates, political parties triumphantly announced the triumph of their candidates for president of Poland. Donald Tusk wrote: “Rafal Trzaskowski wins this debate. And in the "everybody on one" formula.

‘It is true. Only Magda Biejat is better than Rafał," replied the head of the Left, Deputy Marshal of the Sejm Włodzimierz Czarzasta.

On the another hand, there was an entry in the account of PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński on the X portal which praised the head of the IPN Karol Nawrocki. "In the debate I have seen many misfortunes — due to the fact that stupidity in politics and misunderstanding of the mechanisms of democracy and modern times is simply a misfortune. I am pleased to say that there was 1 associate who showed that these times truly understood and that he was able to take on the hard burden of leading Poland and Poles – and this is Karol Nawrocki – we read.

According to prof. Kazimierz Kik, Monday's debate was the best organised presidential debate so far.

– And that's due to the fact that they gave the level to the candidates themselves. They could so “talk” to another counter-candidates. Problem is, it was mostly just a fight. There were animosities, tricks, and fake smiles. What have the best candidates mastered? False and hypocritical. First, specified a candidate looks another candidate in the eye, smiles and shakes his hand. And then he stabs in the back – says prof. Kazimierz Kik, a political scientist.

In his opinion, there were no wins in the debate. - There were fights, disputes and pretending. In addition, at a level not related to the duties of the president of Poland, Kik emphasizes.

According to the talker of Virtual Poland, the circumstances in which the current presidential elections are held disagree importantly from the circumstances of erstwhile elections of the head of state.

– First, the planet is at the point of transition from American hegemony to multipolarity. Secondly, Europe is at the heart of this transition. And thirdly, an armed conflict continues behind our east border in Ukraine. And in this direction, given the President's competence in Poland, there should be a debate. And it was about organization programs and parliamentary elections – says prof. Kazimierz Kik.

And as he recalls, we have a divided United States and a divided Europe in the world, including Poland. There's a very large polarization. The president in Poland should "turn back the boat from the voyage of deepening divisions in society". Divided Poland can be utilized by hostile forces from outside. So the president must halt sharing the community, commenting on a political scientist.

According to prof. Kazimierz Kik, since in the presidential election we have mainly organization candidates, the dividing lines will be even deeper.

The planet needs a professional president, intelligent, experienced and with personality. It cannot be a man who begins to “train to the profession” by wasting valuable time – the political scientist estimates.
