One Polish writer asked president Donald Trump about his earlier critical statements about Vladimir Putin, stressing that there have been no crucial changes since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine.
The question of a Polish writer irritated Trump
– How do you know there's no action? Really? – Trump responded. – Are you able to say that imposing secondary sanctions on India, which are the biggest buyers from Russia – outside China – is nothing? It cost Russia billions of dollars. How can you say that this is simply a deficiency of action? – the president of the United States pointed out in his reply.
He added that the US had not yet gone to the second or 3rd stages of its activities. “If you are saying that there is no action, it is better to find a fresh job,” he concluded.
We will remind you that Vladimir Putin stated on Tuesday that during his gathering with Trump last period in Alaska he reached "agreements" on the ending of the war in Ukraine. However, the Russian dictator did not uncover whether he would agree to peace talks with the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenski.
During the China Summit, Putin besides defended his decision to invade, again blaming the Western conflict and claiming that the war was the consequence of "a coup d'état in Ukraine supported by the West" and "continuous attempts to drag Ukraine into NATO".
Putin said he was ready to meet Zelenski in Moscow. Kiev rejects that idea. Importantly, experts emphasize that the Alaska gathering did not bring much.
