The candidate for president of Poland, with the support of PiS Karol Nawrocki during the Wednesday press conference, had to show how well he knows English. The TVP planet writer present at the briefing asked him a question in this language. Nawrocki's typical then began to wonder whether the writer was from Poland and whether he was Polish.

The TVP planet writer asked at the very end of Karol Nawrocki's conference how he assessed the course of his campaign, as he is certain he will be president of Poland. I'm very sure. My run is going very well – the candidate responded briefly.
Then Nawrocki's typical began to wonder whether the writer was from Poland and whether there was Polish nationality. Are you a writer from Poland? But Polish nationality? There are most likely doubts about this – it's dead. But they both thanked him for the question. It is worth noting that it was heard that the writer working for TVP speaks Polish with a clear accent – he said in our language "Good morning" to Nawrocki.
However, Nawrocki is not doing so well in this campaign. This was shown, among another things, by the last poll which was conducted by RMF FM24. The respondents who declared their willingness to participate in the elections answered the question of who they intended to vote for. At the lead there is simply a candidate KO, Rafał Trzaskowski. 32 percent of respondents intend to support it.
Mentzen pursues Nawrocki in a fresh poll
Second place is simply a fierce rivalry between Karol Nawrocki, supported by the Law and Justice, and Sławomir Mentzen from the Confederate. In the latest poll, Nawrocki received 19.5 percent of the support, and his advantage over the competitor decreases – the candidate of the Confederation won 18.9 percent of the vote. That's just 0.6 percent points difference.
According to RMF FM: “Charles Nawrocki, who could number on 21.7% in the February survey, is systematically lost. And equally systematically, Sławomir Mentzen is gaining his support by more than 2 percent points and by 8 percent points since December 2024."
The 4th place was placed by Szymon Hołownia with the consequence of 5.7 percent support. The following seats were taken: Grzegorz Braun (3 percent), Magdalena Biejat (1.8 percent), Krzysztof Stanowski (1.4 percent), Adrian Zandberg (1.2 percent), and Marek Jakubiak (0.6 percent). The answer "I don't know/difficult to say" indicated 14.3 percent of respondents.
The presidential election will be held on May 18, 2025, and a possible second circular on June 1. A survey of the Opinion24 for RMF FM was carried out on a typical example of 1000 people from 10 to 13 March 2025 by the CATI method.
