The Russian invasion of Ukraine of 24 February 2022, which was to be a several-day peculiar operation, has evolved into a bloody armed conflict that has already lasted for more than 400 days. There is most likely no observer who would not be amazed by this war – whether by determination, but above all by the effectiveness of Ukraine's resistance, whether by the helplessness and tremendous losses of the Russian army, or by the scale and kind of military support of Ukraine from the West, or by the ruthlessness of Russian crimes on the civilian population.
