"May the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Katyn Massacre unite us – Poles – in reflection on the price of freedom," wrote president Andrzej Duda on Sunday on the 85th anniversary of the Katyn Massacre. He emphasized that for decades, communists systematically fought the fact about Katyn, and the perpetrators of this crime have never been punished.
