On August 6, 1914, led by Józef Piłsudski, the First Cadrow Company set out from Kraków Oleanders to Russian partition. It was the origin of the reborn Polish army.
Kraków has one more time become the place of patriotic celebrations commemorating the anniversary of the departure of the First Personnel Company from Kraków Oleanders on 6 August 1914. The celebrations began with the laying of memorial symbols at the monument on Piłsudski Street. Then the participants in the solemn march went to Wawel. There the Holy Mass was celebrated and a watch was placed at the sarcophagus of Marshal Pilsudski.

First, we presented the Cross of independency to Adam Macedonian (the boy of the land of Lviv, the bachelor of the Order of the White Eagle for establishing the Katyń Committee and KPN in the Polish People's Republic). Then, in Oleandrach, Colonel Władysław Olszewski, chief of staff of the Polish Legion of Personnel Company, was decorated with the Cross of Independence, which started in 2022 from the Kraków Oleandrów to war with Russia to support Poles from our number in Ukraine. The colonel resurrected with Wojtek Peglem the March of Madrowka in 1981. As a commando officer, he was repressed by communist peculiar services.
