Vacations will begin soon, but any parents and students are already reasoning about a fresh school year. No wonder, 'cause that's quite a few money. However, these may be somewhat smaller by means of a benefit for school - age children. You just gotta apply.
From Tuesday, July 1st to Sunday, November 30, 2025, you can apply for Good Start. It amounts to PLN 300 and each student is entitled if he meets 2 conditions. 1 is the age criterion, and the another is simply a fresh request that came into force a small over a week ago.

300 plus to buy a school trip. In 2025 the student must meet 2 conditions
As part of the Good Start program, children and young people can receive 300 PLN for the acquisition of school expedition. Only 2 conditions must be met:

be between 7 and 20 years of age (24 in the case of a disability ruling),
attend Polish primary or secondary school.


This second condition came into force on 1 June and concerns the fresh school year 2025/2026. It should besides be borne in head that the benefits of 300 plus will not receive kindergarten, six-year-olds from zeros (so-called pre-school preparation) and students. All due to the fact that these institutions are not schools within the meaning of Polish law.


How do I apply for 300 plus? There are respective different options to choose from
An application for a 300 plus school leave may be submitted by a parent, legal guardian or adult student. The formalities can be completed from Tuesday, July 1 to Sunday 30, November 2025. After this date, only the parents of children over the age of 20 will be able to complete the formalities, who will receive a disability ruling after 30 November. Currently, applications can only be submitted electronically in 1 of the following ways:

through the Electronic Services Platform (PUE) ZUS,
on the portal Emp@tia.
through electronic banking,
in the mZUS application.
