The European Commission has ready proposals for an 18th package of sanctions against Russia. It will hit, among others, Russian oil as well as banks helping Russia circumvent sanctions or attempts to reactivate gas pipelines of Gazprom. The discussion starts this week, and the document's acceptance is scheduled until the end of July.
