

Today is the 15th anniversary of the Smolensk disaster. In the morning president Andrzej Duda will visit Maria and Lech Kaczyński's grave in Wawel. In the evening, the Law and Justice organizes the March of Memory, which will pass from the Warsaw Archatedra to the Presidential Palace. The highest state authorities will pay tribute to her victims, among others on Military Powązki.

In the morning, Andrzej Duda will participate in the Holy Mass in Wawel Cathedral and will besides lay a wreath before the sarcophagus of the presidential couple Maria and Lech Kaczyński in the crypt on Wawel. The president's message to the media is later planned.

Later, PiS politicians will lay wreaths in front of the monuments of Lech Kaczyński and the Victims of Smolensk Disaster in Piłsudski Square. Earlier, there have been incidents, and there have been times erstwhile the wreaths were removed or destroyed by various sides of the political dispute.

Celebrations at Military Owls
Anniversary celebrations will be held from early morning: at 8.20 p.m. – at the capital cemetery in Powązki Military, before the graves of the victims of the catastrophe. They will be attended by representatives of the families of the victims, the Sejm, the legislature – including the marshals of both Chambers – representatives of the government, including Deputy Prime Minister, the head of MON Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, as well as the president of Warsaw Rafał Trzaskowski. On behalf of Prime Minister Donald Tusk, the wreath on Powązki will be submitted by KPRM chief Jan Grabieć.
Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz after 9.00 will lay a wreath at the grave of Deputy Chief of MON Stanisław Komorowski at the Cemetery on civilian Powązki, and later at the grave of the head of MON, Deputy Marshal of the Sejm Jerzy Szmajdziński at the Cemetery in Warsaw Wilanów. He will besides lay a wreath at the plaque dedicated to the president of Poland, the Armed Forces Commander Lech Kaczyński and his wife Maria and the victims of the Tu-154M plane crash associated with the military and defence department, which is located in the Ministry of Defence.
At 9.45 p.m., Speakers of the Sejm and legislature Simon Holownia and Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska will lay flowers under plaques commemorating parliamentarians who died in the Smolensk disaster.
Politicians of various groups will lay flowers on the graves of victims in the country. At 8.41 p.m., a delegation from the KO club attended by a MP of Katarzyna Piekarska, Senator Jolanta Hibner and Senator Tomasz Grodzki will lay flowers at the Military Cemetery in Powązki. He will then submit flowers at 10:30 p.m. in front of plaques commemorating the victims of the crash in the Sejm and the Senate.
