The judaic community in England in the first half of the 18th century was small, and its members' desire to integrate with the environment was manifested, among another things, in the introduction to the emerging masonry.

On the another hand, the heritage of Judaism was of interest to freemuralists, especially from the factions of the "Antients", as demonstrated by the Constitution book entitled "Ahiman Rezon, or, and aid to a Brother" (London 1756), developed by Laurence Dermott.

The engagement of Jews in the activity of masonry was 1 of the factors that increased the spiritual diversity of their community. At the same time, freedom, seeking to unite people over spiritual divisions, helped to spread a affirmative image of Judaism.
