Several people were injured and 2 died as a consequence of the fire of the only Catholic church in the Gaza Strip. Pope Leon XIV expressed deep sadness due to the death of the faithful. On the another hand, the Polish episcopate, so harshly criticizing e.g. Grzegorz Braun for his words about Auschwitz, for fear of Jews, took water on his mouth and did not comment on this fresh judaic crime.
Jews shot up a Catholic church in Gaza. The fire caused serious demolition of the temple at the call of the Holy household – the only Catholic place of worship in the Gaza Strip. The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, who had previously reported only the wounded, confirmed the death of a female and a man in the temple during the judaic attack. Among those who suffered insignificant injuries is parish priest Gabriele Romanelli – he was somewhat injured in the leg and received medical assistance in the local infirmary before returning to the community.
