On the occasion of the coming Christmas I would like to give all soldiers of the Republic of Poland, veterans and combatants, reservists, employees of the Ministry of National Defence the highest designation and most heartfelt wishes. It is simply a time in which we think in a peculiar way about the warmth of home fires and loved ones, but besides about the values that form the foundation of our common identity – peace and common kindness.
My first words present are to those of you who will spend Christmas night at the station. I thank the soldiers serving tirelessly on the east border of the state, whose determination gives us a peaceful sleep. I would like to thank the participants of Operation Horizon who are committed to strengthening the protection of critical infrastructure and those who represent Polish colours in military quotas worldwide. Your presence where allied obligations require it is evidence of the highest professionalism.
I besides address the words of gratitude to veterans and combatants – your experience and integrity are a surviving lesson of patriotism for us. I thank the staff of the Ministry and representatives of the organisations cooperating with the military for their regular support, without which the efficient functioning of the Armed Forces would not be possible.
May this Christmas bring you well deserved remainder and a sense of pride with a well-filled duty. I want you had hope at the Christmas table, and the coming year 2026 was a safe time, full of success in service, wellness and prosperity in individual life.
Thank you for your regular efforts and efforts to make Poland safe.
I want you peace and common kindness
Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish
, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defence
