"Also participation in the March for Life and household surely a kind of manifestation of respect for the life of another man from conception to natural death," said Fr Jacek Kędzierski. A beautiful evidence to household life and values was given last Sunday by residents of Sierod and surrounding areas.
The 3rd March for Life and household in Sieradz began at 12 noon with a solemn Mass in the Church of the Blessed Heart of Jesus.
Fr Jacek Kędzierski, manager of the Diocese of Włocławska, gave the homily during the Holy Mass. As the priest said, many people frequently take a lifelike attitude.
We don't tell the fact about life due to the fact that we don't talk about God... It is easy to forget that God is the Creator, and parents are those who have accepted this life into marriage, into a household – said the priest.
The priest, who besides served as chaplain in 1 of the hospitals, spoke about the experiences of man in the position of life and death, the greatness of life and the realization in various circumstances that God is the giver of life.
Fr Kędzierski told about his companionship, among others, to the parents of a deceased kid who died in the 4th period of age.
When I saw this child's parent holding her hands, and it was tiny, then I experienced that only God is the giver of life.(...) From that minute on, I was born a desire to talk about the dignity of human life He confessed.
The priest called for prayer in the intention of parents who were traying to lose the kid for whom they had waited so much and to pray for those mothers who took their children's life by giving birth.
Fr Jacek Kędzierski besides recalled the approaching beatification of the Ulmów family, where the last Ulmów kid will besides be raised to the glory of the altars. Let us remind you that Ulma, who was 9 months pregnant, began giving birth during the execution.
As the clergyman said, this event can be a comfort to the parents of children who died prematurely, as well as to the parents who killed their kid in abortion. The beatification of the Ulm kid gives hope that these children are besides close to God.
This beatification is an invitation to us Poles to in the planet where abortion is promoted, where it is said that man's life depends on the choice of man (...) so that we stand up to the heights of the task and preach the planet that we want to follow a different path, the way God has set out for us, who decides about life.– he emphasized.
After the Holy Mass, all participants of the event – families, children, youth, seniors and priests of the Siedary passed in a joyful march, in the midst of the singing and fragments of the homily of St John Paul II, went to the collegiate Basilica – the sanctuary of St Joseph, the patron of the Diocese of Włocław, traditionally the families entrusted themselves with the care of St Joseph.
All participants of the Second March for Life and household met in Ethnographic Park at a household picnic. The organizers have prepared many attractions for families and children.
