Unlike another countries active in Eurofighter, the UK has not late ordered fresh aircraft of the latest version of Tranche 4 and 5. Meanwhile, the production of 40 Tranche 3A aircraft ordered by London ends, and no further orders can be seen. Moreover, Britain seems to be slow coming out of the aircraft's program, as evidenced by the withdrawal of the oldest parts of Typhoon Tranche 1 and the addition of F-35 version A. London clearly wants to wait this way until Tempest, a manned British component of the GCAP (Global Combat Air Programme), is ready. This task seems to be going smoothly and it is planned to start implementing these machines in 2035.
