ZUS will gain fresh privileges! From January, mass checks will begin

As of 2026, the Social Insurance Institution will gain more opportunities to control medical exemptions. The fresh rules are intended to reduce fraud and improve the recovery of wrongly paid benefits. Already in the first half of 2025 ZUS recovered over PLN 150 million through controls.
