ZUS awarded over 40,000 pensions for incapacity for work. It's more frequently taken by men

In 2025, ZUS granted 40,076 pensions for incapacity for work. The vast majority of benefits were paid due to partial incapacity for work (two thirds of all fresh benefits). The vast majority of recipients are male.
