Waldemar Żurek referred to his predecessor as Minister of Justice in an interview with "Gazeta Wyborcza". - Yes, I know there have been talks. Waste of time – this is how he reacted erstwhile asked about Adam Bodnar's discussions with Andrzej Duda.
Żurek o Nawrocki
– Already at that time, I saw that we could not trust what we heard from the president or from his law firm, that "there would be cooperation on good projects" – Żurek continued. The fresh minister was besides asked if he would "knock on president Nawrocki now". And it seems that Bodnar's successor is not going to.
– I don't have any plans. I will respect his constitutional function for sure. And if the Prime Minister gives me approval and the president invites me on the regulation of law, of course I will not refuse and go. These will be arguments – explained Żurek.
He added that any of the contributions of the fresh president's colleagues were very disturbing. "And I will leave out silence, what is heard from his political camp, e.g. from the mouth of Przemysław Czarnek, due to the fact that in my opinion they are not handsome," he said.
In his opinion, Karol Nawrocki will be much more independent than president Duda. He besides referred to the character of the fresh president. Whether it's good or bad, we'll see. For now, of course, he has advisors from the hard core of the party. On the another hand, he seems a strong character, and if individual in his environment tries to push him, he may be disappointed. So in this sense, he is definitely a worthy opponent – explained Żurek.
And he stressed: "I will show the president solutions that will velocity up the examination of cases in courts – this is about the good of all citizen. From my perspective, there is no chance of compromise if the ultimate Court and the Constitutional Court do not consist of authentic judges and legal authorities.
