Waldemar Żurek was a guest of the Morning Talk at RMF FM on Monday. He referred, among others, to the oath of Karol Nawrocki, which will take place on Wednesday.

– Support for the Presidential Palace will be essential in key reforms. I will be aware of my constitutional duties and cooperation with the Chancellery of the President," he said.

However, the minister noted that without cooperation with Karol Nawrocki, "certain reforms are possible within the remit of the minister, but will be slowed down".

Waldemar Żurek added that cooperation could be much more efficient if it afraid specific, substantive issues in which (in his opinion) it would be hard for the president to refuse to sign, "because I want to do a good point project".

– If this task occurs in public space, I want to say, Mr President, it's all in your hands. If you do not cooperate here, I am very sorry, but citizens will measure it," said the minister.

Żurek stressed that he valued the industriousness of the current head of the National Prosecutor's Office Darius Korneluk, however, pointing out that his "must have bold goals set".

He did not declare the future for Corneluk. He explained that he would like to look at how it works before usually choosing to work with a person.

– The minute this action is good, and I see it's good, I don't want to inform you. I have a carte blanche (full freedom, free hand - ed.) from the Prime Minister erstwhile it comes to staff decisions, concerning the ministry and the prosecutor's office. The information that convinced me to become a minister is, among another things, that the ministry will not be from the organization key," Waldemar Żurek said.
