The Ministry of Marcin Kierwiński sent a formal request to the president of PKW to retreat from the functions of the electoral commissioners of those judges who participated in the procedure for setting up a fresh National Judicial Council and supported it. In an authoritative communication issued on Monday, the Ministry of abroad Affairs stressed that it expected an urgent decision on this matter.

A spokesperson for the National Election Office Marcin Chmielnicki informed in an interview with PAP, which quoted Onet that the letters from the Ministry of abroad Affairs had reached PKW and were forwarded to the Commission members during the Monday meeting.
Since they were not included on the agenda, no decisions were taken. Given the importance of the matter, the discussion was postponed to the next gathering on 22 September.
Head of PKW Sylwester Marciniak, recalled that according to the Electoral Code, the electoral commissioner may be dismissed before the end of his word of office only in the case of "non-execution or inadequate performance of the responsibilities of the Electoral Commissioner"
– If we felt that these people do not give guarantees, what about the elections for which (...) were responsible? – Marciniak said. In an interview with journalists, he besides expressed doubts as to the merits of the proposal by the Ministry of abroad Affairs, recognising it as besides general and not gathering the requirements laid down in the regulations.
He besides wondered why it is proposed to dismiss these judges from working in electoral bodies, "as these individuals at the same time proceed to rule". “This is so inconsistency and the Minister of the Interior, and the Minister of Justice,” said the head of PKW.
Żurek and Kierivinski have a different plan
