31 medals were won by representatives of the Polish Army in Janów Lublin Championships. They stood on the highest phase of the podium 13 times and won 10 runner-up titles. The last fight in his career was fought by prof. Tadeusz Michalik. The bronze Olympic medalist reached for silver and symbolically said goodbye to the wrestling mat.
For the 96th time, classical wrestlers competed for medals in the elder category, and for the 73rd time, "freemen". On the another hand, women fought for the championship titles for the 28th time. Soldiers played lead roles during the event in Janów Lubelski. 7 gold and 2 silver medals were won by representatives Central Military Sports Team, while soldiers outside the “arm of champions” won six championship titles, 8 runner-up and 8 bronze medals.

Janów Lubelski was the capital of Polish stocks for 4 days. I don't know how they knew it, but they were right," the captain adds.
It is worth reminding that Tadeusz Michalik at the last minute was included in the Polish squad for the 2019 planet Championships in Kazakhstan, which were qualifying for the Tokyo Games. – Tadzio went there completely by accident. After losing in the Polish Championships in his weight category with Ark Kułynycz, coach Włodzimierz Zawadzki proposed Michalik to start in the planet championships in the category 97 kg. In the 10 kg higher Tadek category, as the only player in the six-man classics' team, he won the Olympic qualification, says Captain Piotr Krajewski.
For travel passes with representation
The XXXIV summertime Olympics will be held in Los Angeles in 2 years. This year, however, wrestlers will join the competitions qualifying for a start in California. Konrad Kozłowski (77 kg, classical style), Ws. Daniel Kulczyński (65 kg, free style), Ws. Patryk Kstrewski (79 kg, free style), Ws. Cezary Sadowski (86 kg, free style), and Ws. Filip Szucki (97 kg, free style).
