On Friday, August 15, there was a gathering that many called "new Yalta" or "new Munich" – Donald Trump met with Vladimir Putin to discuss the end of the war in Ukraine. The form of the Russian President's welcome in Alaska – where the summit took place – which was hosted in a very authoritative way, disgusted many commentators. The well-known Polish traveller and writer Martyna Wojciechowska was outraged by the images from the Alaskan Anchorage.

"Women's Brother on the Red Row," commented Wojciechowska to welcome Vladimir Putin on the plate of the Anchorage Airport in Alaska by Donald Trump.

"Wladimir Putin, convicted by the global Criminal Court in The Hague for war crimes, flew to Alaska at the invitation of the president of the United States", stressed the leading program "Woman at the edge of the world".

In her entry in social media Wojciechowska did not cover the disappointment and dissonance of cognitive, connected with the absolute realities of global politics which we witnessed yesterday. "What do global judgments mean? It seems not much," said the traveller.

"Instead of being arrested, the criminal was greeted on the red carpet and treated with honors, like an equal partner in talks," the outraged writer thundered.

Wojciechowska recalled in this context the visit to Washington to the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenski, who at 1 point was blamed for the "inappropriate outfit" in which he appeared in the White House. "It seems that the deficiency of an elegant suit at the authoritative gathering is simply a greater offense than having an global conviction for war crimes," the traveller ironically ironed.

“Will something good come out of this for average people in Ukraine, or is it political-business arrangement, for the benefit of those who profit from it?” Wojciechowska asked, after which she agreed to this second option, stressing that in addition to Putin and Trump in Alaska, the ministers of treasure and trade came first.

"It's a shame to look at it," the writer concluded.
