In the village of Żelizna in the territory of Radzyński, a fragment of a drone-like object was found – akin to those that were found in Poland before. On the scene, the police came in to safe the area and explain the case.
Suspected object was found on Sunday around 13:00 in the village of Żelizna close Radzynia Podlaski. Findings were made by a man walking in the woods. As he reported in the media, the object he saw resembled the remains of the drone, so he immediately alerted the appropriate services.
Service appeared on the site, and the activities are conducted by the Police territory Command in Radzyń Podlaski, as well as the Military Gendarmeria from Biała Podlaska. The territory Attorney's Office was besides notified. According to rmf24.pl, fragments of the drone – a Styrofoam casing and an engine were actually found at the site. It's being determined erstwhile the object might have fallen to the ground and who it belonged to.
"The investigation and investigation squad from the Military Żandarmery Branch in Lublin went to the site. Together with the police, he secures the area of the incident, remains and conducts an inspection of the site," said the spokesperson for the Military Gendarmerie branch, Major Damian Stanula. The case is to be transferred further to the Military Department of the territory Prosecutor's Office in Lublin.
Let us remind that in the autumn we have already faced drone provocation from Russia. It occurred from 9 to 10 September, erstwhile respective objects entered Poland illegally. Most of them were drones – decoys that did not pose a threat. At the same time, NATO forces stationed in Poland decided to fire 3 missiles, as it was pointed out, it was essential and the situation required it.
