Before thousands of people cross the streets of Warsaw in the National March of Life, which will take place on April 19, we want to invitation more than a one-time event. We propose a time of preparation – reflection, meetings and community building. This is what the “Time for Love” initiative is for.

From 9 to 19 April Warsaw will become an area of peculiar experience – both spiritual and social. “Time for Love” is not only a cycle of events, but a thoughtful way leading to a deeper experience of ideas that stand behind marches for life and family.

Something More Than an Event

This year's National March of Life is to be the culmination of something deeper: the process of meeting, reasoning and building a community of people who are close to the values associated with the protection of life, matrimony and family. That's why we want to build a space where you can not only participate in events, but besides stop, talk and look at your life from a fresh perspective.

“Time for Love” has 2 dimensions.

On the 1 hand it is simply a spiritual “pack” of March. As a result, Holy Masses will be held to heal the hearts of men and women so that they can build lasting marriages and accept the gift of life with joy. Another crucial component will be prayer in the place of abortion – as an act of pay and requests for the protection of the life of unborn children.

On the another hand, it is simply a rich programme of events: meetings, debates, conferences, lectures and even integration initiatives. All to show that the civilization of life is not an abstract idea, but a real consequence to the crises of the modern world.

We defend life with prayer

One crucial minute of the initiative will be to pray together for the protection of life and the transformation of hearts.

The gathering will be held close the place where the illegal abortion activity is carried out. It is an answer to a circumstantial reality – through prayer for respect for life, peace of heart and support for women in difficulty.

This event is part of the regular prayer initiative of the Center for Life and household and is an invitation to build a culture of life through spiritual commitment.

Faithful love after all

As the Center for Life and household and the Ordo Iuris Institute, we have besides prepared 3 unique events of a substantive and community nature, which address the 3 key problems of modern society: the crisis of marriage, the killing of unborn children and the demographic disaster.

The first of them will be the screening of the movie “And that I will not leave you” – a moving communicative about people who, despite leaving their spouse, stay faithful to their matrimony vows.

These are stories full of pain, but besides hope and extraordinary strength of spirit. The movie asks fundamental questions: how do you live erstwhile your spouse leaves? How can you stay faithful to your promise? How can we find meaning in solitude?

After the screening there will be a gathering with the characters of the movie and a discussion with invited guests, including representatives of the Association of hard Marriages Sychar. This is simply a unique chance for conversation and testimony.

It is simply a dynamic and moving communicative about the pro-life movement seen from 2 perspectives – the United States and Poland. The movie shows that marches in the defence of life have a real impact on changes in law and shaping public awareness.

The function of the young generation is peculiarly important. In the United States, young people have become the driving force behind the pro-life movement. Their engagement is not accidental – it is due to the ability to talk about the values of a clear and authentic language.
