Changes in the KPC from 1 March 2026 - essential mediation in construction disputes

On 1 March 2026, the fresh provisions of the NPC (Article 458 3a) enter into force. According to them, mediation will be the first step in resolving construction disputes. The court shall mention the parties to mediation before a preparatory sitting or the first sitting to be held for the hearing.
