According to the assumptions of the fresh media law presented by the Ministry of Culture, it is planned to liquidate the RTV subscription. However, the legislative timetable for the adoption of the task by the government in the second or 3rd 4th of next year suggests that the fee will cease to apply at the earliest in 2027. This means that in 2026 the subscription will inactive be mandatory. Moreover, fresh higher rates will apply from 1 January 2026.
