Dr Kazimierz Nowaczyk, an expert investigating the causes of the Smolensk disaster, died on 28 March. He was 74.
The Professor's household is profoundly compassionate and united in sadness.

Sacramentated, my husband, Kazimierz Nowaczyk, died yesterday on 28.III.2026 of pancreatic cancer. We thank all who have shown compassion and truly friendly aid to the deceased, which has made the last days of his life easier, and prayed for his intentions,” said Prof. Nowaczyk's wife.
