31.I.2024 at the age of 55 died Prof. Przemysław Waingertner, an expert in the past of the Second Polish Republic, author of the crucial work “Freedom of the Second Republic in the eyes of the contemporary”. We offer our condolences and condolences to our families and loved ones in these hard times.
The scientist served as Head of the Department of past of the Latest Poland, Vice president of the Łódź Branch of the Polish Historical Society, president of the Committee for the Protection of the Memory of Walk and Martyrdom at the Branch of the Institute of National Memory in Łódź, and typical of the Dean of the Philosopher's-Historical Department of the University of Łódź.
According to the museum, he was the winner of many awards, including the UŁ Gold Badge, the 2018 Witness of past Awards and the Silver Cross of Merit in 2020.
