Zbigniew Ziobro, erstwhile Minister of Justice, will not participate in the swearing-in of president Karol Nawrocki, scheduled for 6 August in the Sejm. According to the "Fact", citing the words of PiS MP Mariusz Goska, the reason is healthy – Ziobro has a planned surgical procedure associated with complications from cancer.

On Wednesday (August 6th), the ceremony of swearing-in by Karol Nawrocki will be held in the Sejm.
The ceremony will begin at 9:53 a.m. with the authoritative welcome of president Andrzej Duda and his wife by Speakers of the Sejm and legislature – Simon Holovnia and Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska.

At 9:55 a.m. President-elect Karol Nawrocki and her spouse will besides be welcomed in the parliament. At 10 p.m., Nawrocki will take the oath before the National Assembly, thus holding the highest office in the state.
