Ziobro said it about Pegasus before the committee. "I had my share and I'm proud"

Zbigniew Ziobro was brought to the proceeding of the investigation committee on Pegasus. At 1 point, the erstwhile Minister of Justice acknowledged that he "participated in his purchase" and was arrogant of it.


On Monday 29 September at 12:00, Zbigniew Ziobry's proceeding began. Earlier, a PiS MP was detained by policemen at Chopin's Warsaw Airport. This active a court order for forced entry before the Pegasus committee after a politician failed to attend the proceeding respective times.

Finally, in a longer speech, the erstwhile minister admitted that he "had cognition of the application of the erstwhile transport minister Sławomir Nowak's Pegasus software".

– On 20 July 2020 Sławomir Nowak was detained with suspicions of corruption, organizing an global mob group (...) Pegasus was an effective tool to detect large human corruption, a close associate of Donald Tusk, a friend for years who created an organized crime group on an global scale. (...) And thanks to the Pegasus, many facts have been established in this case," Ziobro argued.

– For specified cases, Pegasus was purchased, and as Minister of Justice I had my part in this, which I confess. And I am glad that I did it and would do it again," he said.

Then Ziobro attacked again and referred to Tusk. "His subject in this case is very interesting," he said, after which the chief of the committee interrupted his statement, reproving that "we are not talking about the premiere today".
