Ziobro accuses of breaking the law

Zbigniew Ziobro in a tv interview in Poland24.pl stated that Adam Bodnar "obviously broke the law grossly". As he said:

We're dealing with an lawyer general who's not just a criminal. He's a gangster and a thug. And I say it with all responsibility.

Ziobro besides expressed his opinion in an entry on the X portal, where he attacked Bodnar even more:

Yeah, you're a gangster and a thug. You're asking why due to the fact that you took over the National Prosecutor's Office with violence. You're preventing a legitimate national prosecutor from doing his job. In his place, along with Tuski, you appointed an illegal usurper. Without the required Act, you have appointed the heads of prosecutors of various levels. You exchanged the Presidents of the Courts by breaking the Act – like the president of the Court of Appeal in Warsaw, without the approval of the College of the Court.

Ziobro besides accused Bodnar of a number of abuses, including unlawful dismissal of judges, manipulating draws, ignoring the decisions of the KRS and decisions of the ultimate Court, as well as participating in the liquidation of the Constitutional Court. Additionally, he accused him of failing to respond to violations of the law by the rulings, while he rapidly closed the investigation before the change of power. He besides mentioned the acceptance of entrusting the case to the “two towers” of Prosecutor Wrzosek, which he considered to be a violation of the principles of objectivity.

Bodnar wants to apologize.

The Minister of Justice announced legal action, including demanding an apology and compensation for the social objective. In consequence to Interia's questions, he added that it was not the first time that Zbigniew Ziobro addressed akin words to him.

Advocate General Anna Adamiak answered the questions of Virtual Poland, stating that Zbigniew Ziobra's message clearly violates Adam Bodnar's individual welfare. She confirmed that legal action had been taken on this matter.
