Ziobro commented on the decision of Żurek. He assessed that his allegations were "karkolom" and only "showing the determination of this criminal ringing which present governs Poland".
Request to waive immunity Ziobrze and the interim detention for the erstwhile head of the Justice Ministry informed the lawyer General Anna Adamiak on Tuesday.
The case concerns an investigation into irregularities in the Justice Fund, in which Zbigniew Ziobra is suspected of having committed 26 crimes, including the very serious one, which is to direct an organized crime group. According to investigators, the alleged crime group was to extort PLN 150 million from the Justice Fund.

Ziobro commented on Żurek's decision in very harsh words on the YES! Channel on YouTube. In the material, he stated that it was “thanks to these money”, which he was accused of misappropriating, that PK could hold a press conference present in “this beautiful building of the National Prosecutor's Office”.
"This shows the neckline of these allegations, shows the determination of this criminal ringing which present governs Poland," said the erstwhile Minister of Justice.
He made the video available on his X account with an additional comment:
