Zbigniew Ziobro officially apologized to the large Orchestra of Christmas Charity for providing false information about the alleged transfer of PLN 40 million by Prime Minister Donald Tusk. The erstwhile Minister of Justice placed a message on the X site together with PiS politicians, Michał Wójcik and Sebastian Łukaszewicz. "The parliamentary audit at the Chancellery of the president of the Council of Ministers did not confirm media reports of PLN 40 million and the special-purpose reserve fund as a origin of support for the Jerzy Owsiak Foundation and for the public repetition of this information we apologise", wrote politicians. At the same time, they maintained the position that the WOŚP receives multi-million-dollar support from the Treasury companies.
