On Wednesday, PiS MPs conducted an inspection at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister regarding the transfer of PLN 40 million to aid flood victims. Zbigniew Ziobro accused the Prime Minister of transferring this money to Jerzy Owsiak and his WOŚP foundation without appropriate procedures. "We came to check the Prime Minister: on what basis did he transfer PLN 40 million to Owsiak?" - asked Ziobro. The politician claims that the government should not transfer specified funds without conducting a tender or consulting organizations specified as the Polish Red Cross or Caritas, which are besides active in helping victims of natural disasters.
