Zinkiewicz: Cooking a live frog..

From the very beginning of the peculiar war operation in Ukraine, I carefully analyse the evaluation of its course, based on the statements of Polish experts. Polish retired generals, political scientists, politicians, etc., available in public media.

After respective months of proceeding these experts, I conclude that in their opinion the Russians should lose in the first weeks of this conflict. It's my cognitive dissonance. Given that the current situation of Ukrainian troops is highly critical. It requires even more direct military support from the West.

With us Blade-Rish...

I increasingly associate the situation with the memories of my late in-laws, Warsaw insurgents. My memories of my late mother-in-law, the daughter of Captain Navy, are peculiarly important.

In 1939, she passed her advanced school and got into medicine. September 1st unwinded her plans. alternatively of going to college, she and her parent were brutally displaced from Gdynia.

Before the outbreak of the war, Poles were fed anti-German pro-war propaganda. The Poles were told that they were strong, contained, ready... It was said that Poland was safe, due to the fact that “with us is Śmigły-Rydz” etc... However, in the military circles of the time, there was a belief that in the case of the German invasion of Poland, it was in 3 days, the United Kingdom and France, that Germany would attack...

Enemy at both gates

Once again, Poles were played by English and French, as he did with Poles centuries ago. Charles-Maurice de Talleyrand-Périgor (born 2 February 1754 in Paris, born 17 May 1838), recognized as the creator of modern diplomacy. He could play Poles perfectly, he claimed that Poles as a nation are intolerable, that nothing can be done with Poles but mess. In order to unite Poles, it is adequate to flatter them and “show contempt for the Russians.” And instill a belief in danger from both east and western neighbours. He obtained this simple, dedicated allies for Napoleonic war expeditions.

Sanctional propaganda in interwar Poland was based on the existence of a threat from both sides of our borders.

Army gatherings, critic camps

On February 25, 1939, the Italian abroad Minister's visit began Galleazo Ciano. It was a last chance visit for Poland, created on request Adolf Hitler. Following the rejection of the proposals submitted by the Polish side, the Germans proceeded to implement plans to invade Poland.

Poland besides began preparing for war with Germany. A fund-raiser for the acquisition of weapons began. So there were charities organized to rise money for weapons. Participation for ND officers was of a forced nature. My mother-in-law's father, captain of the Navy from Gdynia, attended the ball.

And critics of the then sanctimonious policy were deprived of work and imprisoned (without a judgment) in Bereza Kartuska. Poles who wanted peace were intimidated.

Hugs by old patterns

Modern Polish political propaganda, as in the times of the sanitation, is based on the same principles, drawing on the full fistful of patterns – besides from the legitimate past system.

I am highly moved by the speeches of the contemporary Polish statesman, who is clutching with the Ukrainian leader. due to my age and the resulting memory, the memories of past years remind me, among another things, welcome Ukrainian Leonida Brezhnev with Germany Erichem Honecker.

And the knayak cry “Don't scare, don't scare...” reminds me of the staff from the sieve My own. The same style, the same simplicity and the same peasant fluffyness of the message.

In fact, this ludicrous behaviour could be ignored if it were not for the fact that this phrase was directed at the leader of the atomic power. Not as in the mentioned sieve from Kargul to Pawlak.

Frogs

The proverbial dot over “i”, is the public speech of the Polish ambassador in Paris, who sees the anticipation of Poland entering the war with Russia.

It's not comic anymore, it's tragic. In this way, we are prepared as a society for the coming war, just as during the 20th-century interwar sanitation.

To cook a surviving frog, 1 should gradually, slowly, slow rise the temperature of the water... Then the frog, before he knows it, will lose his life. And they and their families will go to warm countries, to aunts in Israel.
