Can farmers number on decent representation of their interests in Brussels? Polish peasants from Małopolska and Świętokrzyska decided to check this out by inviting all political committees who managed to registry electoral lists in their districts. Although the initiative was completely ignored by the largest groups in the country, which is not surprising, of course, due to the fact that both the current and erstwhile power seemed to underestimate farmers earlier, it was a pleasant surprise that the enthusiasm of candidates representing the typically free marketplace electorate proved to be.
