Ziejewski's convictions. Tusk is to see if they disqualify him as vice minister

Zbigniew Ziejewski as State Secretary at the Ministry of State Acts has an impact on the National Centre for Agricultural Support (KOWR). As Virtual Poland reports, its company will lease hundreds of hectares of land from this institution, while at the same time politicians are conducting multi-million-dollar judicial processes with it, including the pointless usage of land and their destruction.

Ziejewski, who is president of Ziemar, managing more than 700 hectares of land, and owns 115 hectares on his farm, took up the position of Deputy Minister despite a clear conflict of interest.

There are many final sentences on the policy, including the usage of false invoices, the harm to the company to which it is presently subject, the illegal usage of state land and the demolition of more than 10 hectares of land building waste. 1 of the cases ended with an agreement with the NAWR, but nevertheless the PSL policy inactive has open processes regarding the usage of state land.

Nobody knows anything?

Deputy Minister Ziejewski did not answer any questions about his criminal convictions to the media. However, referring to Ziemar's processes, he pointed out that it was a separate legal entity which has the right to defend itself before a court. On the another hand, on the substance of landfilling waste on the land of KOWR, he stated that his company had never handled it and was wrongly accused.

And how did the Ministry of State Acts respond to the full case? It acknowledged that it had no cognition of Ziejewski's judicial past or of his ongoing trials with the institution under its authority. It thus confirmed that it had not verified this information before its nomination.

Tusk assures us that he will look into the case

The Prime Minister himself reacted to the controversy surrounding Zbigniew Ziejewski. The question about Ziejewski was asked to him immediately after he arrived from the conference in Ankara.

I will personally deal with the case concerning the charges against MAP deputy chief Zbigniew Ziejewski; I will check whether the information on him is disqualifying.

Then he added:

As shortly as we finish our classes – I inactive have a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Greece and the president of Cyprus, who, for apparent reasons, want to know what the talks in Ankara looked like – I will personally deal with this issue.

Tusk admitted that he had to look at all the information about Ziejewski to find whether their veracity could disqualify the Deputy Minister from his position.
