Billion-dollar buying for the Bundeswehr

The Bundestag budget committee agreed to acquisition 123 fighting Boxer infantry wagons armed with 30 mm cannon, the contract value is expected to be close to EUR 2 billion. In the past week, the Ministry of Defence besides obtained approval to acquisition further Patriot kits for nearly EUR 1.4 billion.
