"Every specified event is thoroughly investigated. Each flight carries a risk" - wrote General Staff of the Polish Army General Wiesław Kukuła. On Thursday evening, an F-16 aircraft crash occurred during rehearsals for the Air Show in Radom. Gen. Kukuła stressed that Major Maciej "Slab" Krakowian, who died in the crash, "was our best pilot". The general besides referred to allegations of unnecessary participation of active pilots in specified shows.
