Most observers believe that president Volodymyr Zelensky flew to the United States for batteries of Patriot anti-aircraft missiles. In fact, of far greater importance for the future course of the war with the Russian Federation would be the transfer of long-range missiles to the HIMARS strategy by the Americans and to agree to support them with the winter offensive against the Russians in Ukraine.
