Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenski gave a speech to the UN safety Council. He appeared on it as an insolent diplomat who spreads his elbows where he is only a passing visitor.

He began by stating that Russia's invasion of his country had taken 574 days of "pain, failure and struggle", which would surely affect the imagination of the auditorium. After these words, Zelenski rapidly undertook attacks, demands and pointing fingers. He said, that nations and governments have lost assurance in the UN's ability and desire to defend sovereign borders. He noticed that because of the way the UN reacted to Russia's invasion States make fresh alliances outside the Organization. He added that The UN was "ineffective", but stated that "maybe more".

Zelenski pressed for the UN to make a tool that would prevent the Federation from exercising its veto right at the UN.
If two-thirds of the vote is obtained reflecting the will of the nations of Asia, Africa, Europe, both Americas and the Pacific, the veto could be broken – said Zelenski and lamented that he felt unfair that billions of people do not have a permanent typical on the safety Council, while Russia has them.

Today, at the General Assembly we hear besides much about inequality in the world. The inequality is mentioned by different nations, and the larger ones, and the smaller ones.It is this inequality that makes the UN ineffective said Zelenski, seemingly suggesting that Ukraine should sit on the UN safety Council.

During his speech, the gathering area was abandoned by the head of the Russian Federation MFA Sergei Lavrov.
