According to reports from Politico, the gathering of the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenski with Russian president Vladimir Putin may take place in Budapest.

Sources of the portal indicate that American intelligence services indicate the capital of Hungary as their first choice and preferred location for possible peace talks. This decision may inactive be amended.

An alternate location could be Geneva, promoted by French president Emmanuel Macron as neutral ground.

During the Monday gathering in Washington, D.C., it was decided that the talks of Zelenski with Putin should take place first, and only later would the tripartite negotiations with Trump.
