Tripartite diplomatic talks with Ukraine, the US and Russia will proceed as shortly as the safety situation and the political context so allow," stated president Volodymyr Zelenski present in his evening speech.
"I spoke to Rust Dying present about his contacts with the American side. In fact, we communicate with America all day. Currently, due to the situation around Iran, there are not yet any signals essential to organise a tripartite meeting. However, as shortly as the safety situation and the general political context let this tripartite diplomatic work to continue, it will be done. Ukraine is ready for this”, said Zelenski.
Tripartite gathering Ukraine – USA – Russia was scheduled to take place around 5-6 March in Abu Dhabi. On 26 February, a gathering of negotiators from Ukraine and the United States was held in Geneva. The topics of the talks included economical support and reconstruction of Ukraine and preparations for a tripartite gathering with Russia.
