"Disciplined Democracy". For whom (not) are the elections in Burma beneficial?

The elections in Burma/Myanma did not even keep appearances of integrity. But they can give a military ticket to global recognition. The military junta is already supported by China and Russia. The next with support may be Donald Trump, who are tempted by uncommon earth minerals there.
