Former Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro was detained by police at Chopin Airport in Warsaw. Police officers were to implement the decision of the court, which decided to force the policy to be brought before the Parliamentary Committee of enquiry for Pegasus.
The halt was showy – the runway was blocked and cars entered the airfield plate. Ziobro was stopped after the arrival from Brussels, and all intervention was broadcast, among others, in Poland24 and tv Republic.
During his arrest, Zbigniew Ziobro pointed out to a police officer that his detention was illegal. A police officer replied that he was pursuing court proceedings.
The proceeding in front of the committee was originally scheduled for 10:30, but it was moved to a later hour.
